Four Lowe Sisters and their "Little Brown Men"

One of my favorite family stories told to me by my Great Auntie Ev was when her mother, Annie Lowe died, her father Henry announced that he was taking Ev and her sister, Aggie to America, where their sisters Flo, Dolly and Carrie already lived along with their Filipino husbands. Aggie protested by saying, "I don't want to go to America and marry a little brown man!" Evelyn did move to America (along with her father Henry Lowe) and several months later, she married a Filipino named Florentino Milgazo--thus the four Lowe sisters and their Little Brown Men!
